FLOORING

Australian Cypress is a relatively small tree and so the most readily available board sizes are narrow and this is reflected in the pricing of the final p roducts. 

The most commonly sawn board is 4"x1" or 100x25mm in metric measure.  This is used to produce 85x19mm flooring or 90x20 decking.  Narrower sizes are also available and are slightly cheaper.  Wider sizes are more expensive and availability diminishes as the width increases.  The widest one-piece solid floorboard that we can do is 180mm cover.
